In the beginning, there was nothing...except this.

Welcome to what will be the vgcrunch.com blog (he calms the crowds excessive applause only to rouse a standing ovation)! Well thank you, my name is Trevor and I will be your ally in most (if not all things) note-worthy regarding gaming. This site was created by my age-old friend Jacob, and he was nice enough to involve me in the burden of creating interesting topics, conversation, and sometimes controversial statements surrounds our most passionate hobby.

We are just starting to get this site moving, so bear with us as content blossoms into the wonderful flower of interesting and compelling online journalism. Our hope for this site, and all its associated content and media, is that it will provide a haven and launch pad for gamers of all genres and consoles to share, absorb, and discuss various topics of interest, fears, what we ate for breakfast, etc.

We have sat on the sidelines for years, as I am sure most of you have, listening to things we’ve agreed with, gotten upset over, and been completely perplexed by in the gaming media. We feel that some sites don’t cover everything of interest (at least not to us). We have witnessed the fall of forums from epicenters of information and aid, to cesspools of disgust and discontent. We hope to bridge the gap between vicious and cutthroat haters and fanatical fanboys.

We promise to try our best to deliver information in an unbiased manner. Although we may have opinions, we will attempt to be as fair as possible, and not condescending in any way to the gamer. Realism and objectivity are on the menu, and we’re having double helpings. Remember, we are just starting, and we are fueled more so by passion rather than experience (in running a website anyways). We would like to thank those that will be part of this ahead of time, we know there are so many interesting things out there on the web and we are happy you have (or will) make us one of them, at least to you. Keep a sharp lookout for more on vgcrunch.com! I promise more is coming…no really; there will be more of the goodness, and in epic quantities.

Trevor
